What Marchionne has in mind for Alfa Romeo is worrysome. My understanding is that Fiat is not investing on new Ala Romeo producst. The last serious money invested into an Alfa Romeo was for the 156. Now the Giulietta might be the latest Alfa Romeo developed by its current owners. Rumours of VW considering its acquisition are now running wild. Perhaps it would be best option for Alfa Romeo, after Ford was denied the opportunity to grant Alfa Romeo a future. Let's hope Mr. Piech takes control and design the brighter future the brand deserves.

MiTo has more of an "Alfa Personality," in my opinion. This one too much resembles Asian cars such as Subaru Impreza and Kia C'eed. But I do like New Giulietta's interior. Now, however, Sergio Marchionne is supposedly re-evaluating their entire Brand Strategy (and Lancia, too!)....
